Two months ago today hubs and I did this...

Since then we've turned this...

Into this...

And done countless other things like figure out how to rehang the storm door at 3am when crazy high winds took it off. We have redone closets because I am crazy about fresh painted, well-organized closets from the begining. And we have ordered some pretty fabulous items for the living/dining that are coming in next week and I think will pull this place together like magic.
One item I am just too excited to wait to tell you about is this...

The
Monroe Ebony Sideboard Table from
Crate and Barrel. I am about as excited for this to arrive as I am to FINALLY upack all of our china in it that has been in its boxes from being delivered nearly 2 1/2 years ago for our wedding! I have almost forgotten what my pattern looks like! I can hear the women in my family just dying on the inside, since I come from a long line of women who own multiple set of china (for each season, duh!) and use it for as many occasions as possible! So I am really excited to get it out. Which reminds me, hubs and I are starting a new project in the new year, that I will be sharing a bit about on here, that actually relates to the bit about the china. But I have to finish this post so I can get ready to go out.
Will keep you posted!
